UNM high jumper Django Lovett almost set a new personal record in the finals of the men's high jump at the Canadian Track & Field Trials, but ended up placing third as he missed out a spot on the Canadian Olympic team.

UNM triple jumper Floyd Ross finished competition today in the preliminary round of the men's triple jump at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Trials, placing 16th and missing the cut to the final round of competition.
