The New Mexico State University cross country team's season is officially under way after the Aggies concluded its first meet of the season in Albuquerque, N.M., with the Lobo Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 1.

The 2012 Academic All-WAC baseball, softball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's tennis and outdoor track and field teams have been announced.

The New Mexico State University men's and women's cross country teams received national recognition when both teams were named to the USTFCCCA 2011 Division I Cross Country All-Academic Team list.
